The Great MEK Scavenger Hunt VI - 2012-04-12

It's the sixth MEK Scavenger Hunt! Does your team have what it takes to win?

Date: Friday, April 13th

Time: 4pm - about 10pm

Meet at the One O'Clock Lounge at 4pm. At the end of the game you will meet us at the One O'clock Lounge.

Our Scavenger Hunt will be an afternoon-long event, with multiple type of clues: collecting items, performing tasks, and solving puzzles. The team that wins will get some nifty prizes, and a good time shall be had by all.

We're looking for teams of 3 players (you can invite outside friends, but at least 2 of the 3 players per team must be dues-paying members) for the event, and we have a sign-up form available at meetings. If you only have 2 but still want to be a team, go ahead and register your team, and we will add a "free agent" to your lineup. If you don't have a team, or want to get to know some new people, you can still sign up as a "free agent" and we'll make random teams out of everyone on the list.

So, if you think you have what it takes to win, sign up your team, or as a free agent! Sign-ups will be open until the meeting before the event.

For an idea of what you're up against, here's an example rules and clues! 177kb, Adobe PDF

Helpful Info! The event is scheduled from about 4pm to 10pm. If you, or anyone on your team, has to leave early or run late, it's perfectly ok! We need at least ONE member of the team at check-in at 4pm and one at judging. Just make sure you meet up with your team so you're not by yourself!Suggested things to bring for the hunt- Backpack(s) or bag(s) to carry items in- Camera of some sort. Camera phone works too- Comfy clothes and shoes (very important!)- Writing utensil of some sort- Snacks in case you get hungry on your long journey. Of course there are plenty of food places on campus if you need to stop for a bite to eat!- Maps of campus or other helpful tools like that are also ok to bring- Learn who officers are and what they look like

If you have any questions about the event, post them in the forums! :D
