I'm still looking for the opportunity to play people in some MK9, but I'll play whatever else also. :)

:) insane double post, but such is the nature of the forum community...

I am rather curious - show of posts, who's all going to be playing Brawl?

And anyone that actually wants to join in that casual tourney in their free time will be welcomed to do so....whenever one of us organizes it. lulz

Desert Punk wrote:I would like a little more info on the rules of the tourney.
1. will there be items/final smash.
2. how many people will be fighting in each match.
3. will there be a time limit even though there's stock. ( I hope there is one to keep the tourney rollin')
4. and will the stage be standard Final D, battlefield, or will it be like winner's/ loser's choice.
That's all I really wanted to know thanks for any answers given.

1. No items or final smash.
2. 1 on 1
3. I suppose I could arrange that depending on how many people enter.
4. I think Final destination will be the best way to go.

In that case the tournament rules might as well be this.

Sorry, I just don't want anybody winning because of random luck. And yes, it will be in the meeting room.

Random luck is half the fun of Smash Bros., hence the level hazards (Ultimate Chimera, F-Zero Cars, the gun on the Halberd, etc.) and the small chance of the Hammer's backfiring if you grab them. Same with the Pokeballs; those are the ultimate proof of luck in the game as you could get a Legendary who will Pwn everything or you could get Mew/Goldee/Celebii who does nothing useful. No Final Smashes is more reasonable because those are literal game changers.

This is your tournament though, so your rules go.
I am the Wanderer, are you friend or foe?
