AnimeFest 2010
Labor Day Weekend

MEK should have a booth as well as a TON of panels for this con.

When we have confirmation of panels times they will get posted.

Feel free to use this thread to look for rides or crash space!

Whether or not I end up going depends on if I can get a place to crash... so, if anyone has space to spare, even just a spare bit of floor, I'd greatly appreciate it.

**EDIT: OUR ROOM IS NOW FULL**

Dave and I have a room from Friday night until Monday morning (3 nights). I am currently unaware of how many people total will be in our room, but if something comes up last minute and someone doesn't have crash they can certainly stay in our room for the low low price of $75~ (sliding scale, more people means everyone pays less).

Our rules are: only 21+ and you pay for your spot in the room up front and in full (this is due to past problems with people no one here knows, it sucks, I know v.v).

Room specs:
Basic King Room but with a King Suite on Standby (Meaning if it is available when we get to the con, we get it. We won't know if we get the suite or not until we check-in)
There are only 2 people confirmed, other people have approached us but are not confirmed yet
We tell people to bring your own sleeping gear but we will also bring our own sleeping bags just in case

Perks of staying in our room:
Free alcohol (if you drink)
We usually go grocery shopping for a few snacks and beverages that are free to all who are staying in the room
We sometimes get pizza or something to share with everyone

Let me know if you are interested or definitely want to stay with us or any questions ASAP. Dave keeps asking friends on facebook so I can't guarantee spots will stay open long...

Unfortunately, I can't meet your requirements, as I'm not 21. It's a pity, as $75 for the whole weekend and food to mooch is quite a deal.

I didn't even make that rule. It's Dave trying to ensure there are no under-aged drinkings in our room...
Maybe if it gets closer to con time and there's still not many people in the room I'll contact you back? I'll ask him about it...

I talked to him about it. We can put you on our lil "waiting list" kind of thing and if it gets closer to A-Fest and everyone in front of you hasn't said definitely yes yet then your in! Cool with you?
